The game comes from the new studio Sassybot, and features an experience that few others can match. This interactive game grants players an insight into how much interaction is relied upon in the real world. Fragment’s own website has a blurb which describes the game as:
“When a young man dies suddenly, his friends and family are left to pick up the pieces. What were his last thoughts, what were the moments in which he changed their lives, and how will their lives be without him? Fragments of Him is an interactive narrative experience. Follow the story of Will as you see how he influenced the lives of many people.”
To many people this could be a sore spot, but with an intriguing concept and a style which tugs at the heartstrings, this could be a game to keep an eye out.
Here is the cinematic trailer:
The game is expected to launch only on Xbox One and Windows later this year. The only little part I’m confused on is whether this is the same game teased a few days ago by Microsoft in their HoloLens video. I know it was also called Fragments but the majority of the title was so stylized that it was impossible to read. Maybe? Who knows? We’re reached out to Microsoft for comment and shall update you as soon as we know more.
