Speaking to GameSpot, developer Counterplay Games revealed that their free-to-play strategy game Duelyst will be coming to consoles and Steam.
Duelyst is a strategy card game much like Hearthstone, and players can take part in 1v1 online matches where they will cast spells and summon minions to battle on their behalf. There are several different factions to choose from, each with their own benefits in battle. Artist Glauber Kotaki, who worked on Rogue Legacy and Chasm, provided visuals for the game, which blend hand-drawn illustrations and pixel art.
The game has its own launcher and is already available on PC, however Counterplay Games is still working on bringing it to Steam along with Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and mobile devices. They have not yet announced a release date.
