Update: The data doesn’t include digital sales for Gears of War 4. That makes it breaking the top three position quite remarkable.
A few days ago we told you that Xbox One beat PlayStation 4 according to the NPD. Well, today we’re going to tell you even more news. It appears that Gears of War 4 became one of the top three games in October. Obviously Battlefield 1, which is a multiplatform game came out on top followed by the popular Mafia 3, but Gears of War 4 beat everything else including games like Titanfall 2 and Skyrim.
This is definitely a great achievement and I’m surprised Gears of War 4 is that high. I would’ve expected Titanfall 2 to be higher along with Skyrim even though they released later on. I mean, they are multiplatform releases which are everywhere!
