A video by new YouTube channel, Halo Sierra, has allegedly leaked a short off-screen video of an Xbox One booting up a dev build for Halo 3: Anniversary. Starting on the Xbox One home screen, the user boots up a program called Sierra Release Build or Sierra (Release) 1.0.555.4045 which takes him to a splash screen of Microsoft Studios and 343 industries before going to the supposed main menu of the game in which Pelican’s fly by with a planet and what seems to be a Covenant ship in the background.
Before Microsoft allowed any Xbox One to be activated as a Dev Kit this would have seemed to be a very concrete leak. Now, however, the footage could have come from anyone with an Xbox One, a PC and the talent to pull something like this off. Hopefully, this does end up to be true and we’ll be able to play a fully remastered version of Halo 3 and with the amount of leaks revolving around this year’s E3, there is a high chance that this is real. Check out the video below and tell us what you think.
