The first Halo Championship ever to be done worldwide will star this winter, the first qualifier round scheduled for December, and the grand finals scheduled for March of 2016.
This is the biggest Halo championship tournament to be held worldwide, and with it will be discovered the top teams from around the globe. The various regions of the globe will be represented in the following way:
-> Top 8 teams from North America
-> Top 4 teams from Europe, Middle East, and Africa
-> Top 2 teams from Australia and New Zealand
-> Top team from Asia
-> Top team from Latin America
343i has also revealed earlier that the prize pool for this tournament would begin at $1,000,000, being added to that the REQ Pack crowdfunding. So far the real money purchases of the REQ packs in Halo 5 has raised the prize pool to the stunning $1,500,000, which is a value that keeps growing each day, according to 343i.
