There is an image circulating around the Internet which depicts Spartan Locke looking upon a wounded Master Chief. It seems to be a still from a live action commercial or the new Halo television show being made by Steven Spielberg. While the image appears to be a genuine leak, what it means for Halo 5: Guardians is unclear.
Was Spartan Locke hunting Master Chief and this is why he’s standing there? Is he coming to help Master Chief? Is the new show centered around Master Chief? What’s going on? While we won’t know the answers to these questions until the end of the year, the still features wonderful cinematography and triggers intrigue.
According to 343 Industries, Halo 5: Guardians will release this year. While no exact release date was given, it looks like the game will come out in November like other titles in the series.
