Interbrand, the world’s leading brand management consultancy firm, recently released its top brands for 2015. It helps companies improve their value through rigorous strategy and analysis coupled with the creative power of branding and design. The firm comes out with the Best Global Brands each year.
Interbrand ranks them based on their monetary value. Microsoft came in at fourth place this year behind Apple, Google and Coca-Cola. Microsoft’s brand value went up by 11%. Many other companies also made the list. For example, Microsoft’s rival in the console space, Sony, came in at No. 58 but they lost 5% of their value. The ranking is a great way to understand how companies are doing and how they’ve viewed.
