Joe Waters, veteran video game engineer, has passed away. Chances are, if you are an Xbox gamer you have played a game with Joe Waters’ name somewhere in the credits. He worked on such titles like Counter-Strike on the original Xbox, Halo: Reach and more recently Rise of the Tomb Raider.
The news broke last night when friends and family started tweeting out fond memories of the loving engineer.
Thanks Joe Waters for making me feel at home in a strange city. That fucking crazy grin made me feel safe and part of something. RIP ❤️
