Two indie games with unique art styles and gameplay, Jotun: Valhalla Edition and Manual Samuel, are coming to Xbox One this summer.
Jotun: Valhalla Edition is a hand-drawn action game that is based on Norse mythology. You play as Thora, a viking woman who has died an inglorious death. Thora must prove herself to the gods to be able to enter Valhalla, the afterlife in Norse mythology. Jotun has a unique and beautiful style that players should check out. It was already released for PC, but will now be releasing on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Wii U with extra content including a boss rush mode.
Manual Samuel is an adventure game where the playable character Sam makes a deal with Death after he dies. In order to stay out of an eternity in hell, Sam must live for 24 hours manually. You must control every bodily function, from breathing to blinking. Manual Samuel aims to be funny with a good sense of humor, and seems to take some skill to play. It will be releasing for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
