During Microsoft’s media briefing at Gamescom, it was officially announced that Killer Instinct would receive a third season. Killer Instinct: Season 3 is set to release March 2016. The game will come to Xbox One and Windows 10.
The best part is that cross-play will be supported so you can battle your friends on Windows 10 while punching them from your Xbox One. Not only that, but the new season will feature many guest characters. Are you hyped? The first of which will be Rash from Battletoads.
Players that own Killer Instinct content or the recently released Rare Replay collection can try out Rash ahead of time starting today. The test period will last until September 8 so be sure to play as much of the character as you can.
