Kudo Tsunoda has been promoted to corporate vice president of Windows Apps Studio. This was announced in an email to Microsoft employees earlier today sent by Terry Myerson, the executive vice president of Microsoft’s Windows and Devices Group. Kudo’s new role will be to oversee operations regarding apps on several Microsoft platforms.
Hanno Lemke and Shannon Loftis will be taking Kudo’s place at Microsoft Studios. Hanno Lemke currently is the General Manager of Microsoft Studios Europe where he is responsible for studios like Press Play, Lionhead, Lift London, and Rare. Shannon Loftis is currently the general manager of Microsoft Studios Publishing and her responsibilities include overseeing games such as Crackdown 3, ReCore, Quantum Break, and Scalebound.
