Update: Digital Foundry did an analysis and discovered the frame rate was below 20 FPS almost always.
Lichdom: Battlemage is an interesting game. It’s a phenomenal spellcaster on Steam and it just released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Unfortunately though, it suffers from severe frame rate issues. This affects the controls as well and makes the game unplayable.
@elicationgaming It’s not you. We are working on a patch. When I learn more about a date, I’ll share it ASAP.

Fortunately though, Maximum Games are aware of the issues on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The company’s Brian Albert said that they would update players as soon as there was more information about the patch. I bought the game last night and Tristan, one of our reviewers, also found the game to be completely unplayable and broken. The loading times are also absolutely insane. Here’s hoping that the patch comes out soon because it looks like an amazing game but right now it just doesn’t work well at all.
