With Sony acquiring the marketing rights to some of this fall’s biggest releases like Destiny 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, and Call of Duty: WWII, Xbox fans were left hoping that Microsoft had the marketing rights for more games to come this holiday, besides Middle Earth: Shadow of War in August. There is some speculation by others that this game is possibly Ubisoft’s next Assassin’s Creed, allegedly titled Assassin’s Creed: Origins. If this is the case, it would be a jump for Ubisoft as they have previously partnered with Sony on marketing for Assassin’s Creed in the past, with some of their games even getting exclusive DLC on PlayStation. Nothing is confirmed however, so that take rumor with a grain of salt.
Microsoft’s E3 2017 press conference is set to take place on June 11 where we will learn more about the games coming to both Xbox One and Project Scorpio this fall. What game do you think they have marketing rights on? Let us know in the comments.
