Need for Speed Legends update detailed

Yet another new update for Need For Speed has been announced. The Legends update includes a vast amount of new features, which release on December 9, 2015. Looking over this list, I am very excited to check this out tomorrow.

Here is all of the new content coming:

The Return of Eddie – Yes, you heard me right. Eddie, the legendary Need For Speed character is coming to Ventura Bay, bringing along Melissa, more events, and his very special 1999 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec which will be availible to drive after completing his Icon thread.

More customization parts – As if the insane amount of customization wasn’t enough, Ghost Games is adding 113 new visual customization items for six different cars. These cars are the Dodge Challenger SRT8, 1965 Ford Mustang, Honda Civic Type-R, Lotus Exige S, Volkswagen Golf GTI, and the Volvo 242.

New Music – The music in Need for Speed 2015 was very diverse, but it was quite annoying to constantly hear the same songs over and over again. Ghost Games has responded by adding the most popular music from old Need for Speed games into NFS 2015. Below are the songs being added.

•Aquila 303 – The Need for Speed (1994)
•Overheated – The Need for Speed (1994)
•Scud – The Need for Speed (1994)
•Toxic Exhaust – The Need for Speed (1994)
•Menu – NFS II (1997)
•Romulus 3 – NFS II (1997)
•Sirius 909 – NFS III Hot Pursuit (1998)
•Callista – NFS Road Challenge / High Stakes (1999)
•Quantum Singularity – NFS 4 Road Challenge / High Stakes (1999)
•The Good, The Bad, The Eddie – NFS Underground (2003)
•Intro Song – NFS Underground 2 (2004)

•Induction Kit – NFS Carbon (2006)
•Decalomania – NFS Pro Street (2007)
•Dampener Rod – NFS Pro Street (2007)

Decals – If you prefer to create your own wrap, Ghost Games added over 200 cool new decals for you to use in the Wrap Editor.

REP Increase – In the last Need for Speed update, we saw a maximum REP Level increase from 50-60. In this Legends update, the new maximum REP Level is 70. Between the added levels, you will be rewarded new Decals per level increase.

Collectables – By far the only feature I have yet to take advantage of is Collectables. Essentially, these are cool little areas where you can receive rewards for finding them.
• 10 Urbex Spots, these are hidden little details you may have missed while driving past
• 12 Donor Cars, finding one will unlock a new customization option which is coming in the Legends update

Three new Achievements – While these don’t appear to be nearly as difficult as the Achievements included with the Icons update, we will have to see for ourselves tomorrow.

Zero to hero – Win a race while driving Eddie’s car
Eddie is back – Win Eddie’s progression
Hit the ceiling – Get to REP level 70
