Netflix for Xbox One S now supports 4K content

The Xbox One summer update is rolling out and Mike Ybarra has shared some details and answered questions on Twitter regarding it. If you like to binge watch a lot of shows, you’ll be happy to hear that Netflix now supports 4K and HDR for Xbox One S which is launching on August 2.

Mike Ybarra also said that they are currently working out the details as to when any developer can upload universal apps to Xbox and that people should expect it soon.

The Groove music app will soon support background music in preview, and it should be available to everyone soon after as well.

If anyone is having trouble with hidden games or other apps in the menu, the command to unhide items in Ready to Install is now RB +LB + X.
