Since the launch of Xbox One backwards compatibility, players have been begging Microsoft to get original Xbox games working on the Xbox One. It would seem that Microsoft is hard at work at implementing this future but have gotten stuck on one issue, adding achievements to original Xbox games.
When a fan told Microsoft’s Phil Spencer he would like to see an “OG Xbox emulator” on the Xbox One, Phil Spencer said “we’d need to try to figure out achievements I think, not easy to do that.”
@justinmorgan57 @PNF4LYFE @Xbox @aarongreenberg As you said, we’d need to try to figure out achievements I think, not easy to do that.

Earlier this year, Microsoft revealed that you would be able to play a wide variety of Xbox 360 games on your Xbox One at no extra charge! The feature launched on November 10th and came with popular games like Fallout 3, Just Cause 2, and Assassins Creed 2, with many others to come in the coming months.
