Red Barrel Studios has been fairly quiet about Outlast 2 since the teaser trailer released a few months ago. We weren’t given a whole lot to go off of other than some creepy imagery and hints at satanic cults as well as a possible rural setting. Now we finally have a bit more information on what we will be getting ourselves into when the game releases later this year.
Thanks to some gameplay clips, we have confirmation that the game will take place in a creepy rural area with some sort of cult that populates the area. Story details are scarce right now, but the sequel still has the creepy, dark tone that the original Outlast had. Check out some of the gameplay clips below.
Outlast 2 is due out sometime this fall. If you’re at PAX East this weekend, you can get a hands-on demo on the showfloor.
