American retailer Best Buy have potentially leaked the official name of Microsoft’s Project Scorpio just hours before the E3 2017 reveal.
Titled Xbox Scorpio, Best Buy released a promotional image (found below) seemingly leading to a pre-order page for Xbox’s premium console. The name has also been teased recently by Game Awards creator/producer Geoff Keighley as well as others claiming the name would either be: Xbox Scorpio, Xbox Two, Xbox 10 or Xbox One X.
It may seem weird to some that Microsoft chose to stay with the systems in-development codename, but with all the pre-reveal branding the company has been doing it makes a lot of sense. Keep your eyes peeled during the E3 2017 conference to see if this Best Buy leak is indeed real later today.
