Good news everyone, another remaster is coming!
This time around, Prototype 2 is the being transferred to the new generation of consoles. The Prototype franchise combines science and a sprinkle of thriller as the main character changes and develops his body depending on the situation. Ultimately, the main character is an antihero looking to change the world around him.
Coming off the back of Activison’s partnership with Sony, there were rumours of a knock-on effect. However, the leak shows that Prototype 2 will release on Xbox One. Prototype joins the ever-growing list of games getting upgraded. There is a lot of remastering going on currently, with publishers perhaps looking to introduce gamers to their previous content. How far will the remastering continue especially with backwards compatibility? We don’t know.
Prototype 2 has a potential release date of July 14 and will include a host of DLC which were available for the original so you do not have to worry about re-buying it all. According to rumors, the first Prototype will also release on July 14 but so far there has not been any evidence to support that.
