Chalk this up on the strange board. The USK ratings board have given an official rating to the Recore Definitive Edition, sparking some rather urgent questions about what the game will include. As of today, Microsoft hasn’t announced any release date for the DLC for the game officially, however, there were rumors of a small DLC release launching soon with a new bot featured on the cover art for the game, and a recently discovered ‘unfinished’ area in-game.
Recore launched during September 2016 and received a tepid response from critics. Phil Spencer noted that the game performed quite well, and was well received by gamers on the platform. Since then the developer and Microsoft have been mum on any new developments for the game, outside the acknowledgment that there will be DLC eventually.
It is rumored that the DLC might release on the same day the Definitive Edition launches, however, it’s unclear how much this DLC will cost, if they do charge for it. However, Recore was quite an interesting game and it will be great to dive into the title when the DLC eventually drops.
