Since the trailer appeared online earlier today, Microsoft has released more details of the upcoming Tomb Raider title, Rise of the Tomb Raider. The trailer that surfaced this morning was at a lower quality, and had French subtitles covering many parts of the video. This new trailer is adapted for the English audience, with no subtitles.
Also with this announcement is the new box art, which is very similar to the 2013 prequel. The box art focuses on Lara Croft, in the new cold, Siberian environment.
Here is what Xbox Wire had to say:
We also get our first glimpse at the game’s striking box art, which features Lara Croft embarking into an ancient secret tomb. Ready yourself for Rise of the Tomb Raider this holiday season and prepare for even more of the mystery, exploration, and adventure that drives this award-winning franchise.”
We will find out more information in exactly two weeks’ time, when the E3 Media Briefing is underway. We can expect to see gameplay and a release date for the expected fall release.
