In an interview between Steve Downes, the voice of Master Chief, and 4GwQ Podcast, a lot of interesting details were revealed behind the person who portrays the iconic character. Some of the highlights have to be how he says that Halo 5 set up a very interesting sequel when it comes to Halo 6 and there are many other Master Chief stories to tell in the Halo universe.
Apart from that, other small tidbits were revealed like how Steve Downes is absolutely terrible at Halo and how Jen Taylor and Steve didn’t actually meet until 2010 when they were recording lines for Halo 4. You should definitely listen to the interview because it’s absolutely amazing. Lastly, Steve Downes actually preferred the emotional route the Halo 4 story took which marked the beginning of the Reclaimer Saga.
