Tekken 7 was confirmed for Xbox One at E3 2016 but we haven’t heard much about it until now. Recently a new Tekken 7 page went up on the Xbox Store which classifies it as “Coming Soon”. Small snippets of information keep on trickling out and today we got new details about the story mode along with new gameplay featuring two popular characters.
According to a report on NeoGAF, the story mode will include hours of gameplay, and retell older stories from the Tekken lore. In fact, you’ll get to play as Kazuya Mishima when he was a child and a young Heihachi. The report also added that newcomer Claudio Serafino was an exorcist and he and his group holds the key to defeating the devil gene. With that said, the story mode will let you unlock subplots for characters who aren’t part of the Mishima family, like Claudio. All of this definitely sounds substantial and I can’t wait to learn more about the game as it gets closer to launch.
