Bethesda sent over a press release this afternoon detailing the first instalment of The Evil Within’s season pass content. ‘The Assignment’ is the first of a two party ‘story-driven’ experience, and features a new playable character.
Juli Kidman, the partner of Sebastian Castellanos – playable in the previous game – takes centre stage in this Resident Evil 2-like concurrent story scenario. The DLC promises to answer some of the questions fans of The Evil Within may have about Juli and her whereabouts during the base game.
‘The Assignment’ will be followed by ‘The Consequence’ – tipped for launch later this Spring.
“Along the way she will encounter disturbing new enemies, discover new mysteries, and uncover new horrors. The Assignment and The Consequence give fans of The Evil Within the perfect opportunity to discover detective Kidman’s hidden motivations and her mysterious connection to Mobius, the shadowy group thought to be behind the gruesome events of The Evil Within. “
The Assignment, The Consequence and The Executioner make up The Evil Within’s season pass – priced at $19.99/£14.99/€19.99. The season pass, as usual, will be cheaper than buying up the DLC separately.
Stay tuned for a review if you’re unsure whether it’ll be worth while!
