Just when you thought that Rocket League couldn’t get anymore DLC, enter The Witcher. Psyonix has announced that the legendary Geralt from The Witcher series will enter Rocket League. It will release alongside the new Hoops basketball mode on April 26 in the form of a new car antenna. According to the team, they stated that:
Starting with the FREE “Hoops” update on April 26, Witcher fans can customize their Battle-Cars with the Witcher Medallion Antenna thanks to our friends at CD Projekt Red! We thought it was an apt choice in anticipation of their upcoming Blood and Wine expansion. Several members of the Psyonix team were big fans of The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt last year, so we talked with the awesome developers at CD Projekt Red to see if Geralt of Rivia’s iconic Witcher Medallion could make its way into Rocket League!
Unlike some other DLC items in Rocket League, the Hoops update and Witcher DLC will be available free of charge beginning this Tuesday, April 26th on Xbox One. Goat Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator items will also be headed to the game at a later date. Take a look at the Hoops announcement trailer below.
