The self-proclaimed hacking group called Phantom Squad that has threatened to shut down Xbox Live and PlayStation Network over the Christmas period had one of their main Twitter accounts suspended.
If you visit their account page the following message is shown:
This kind of “punishment” by Twitter suggests that they are taking a more active role in what is related to the various groups that use their services to promote and advocate online attacks like the one planned against Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.
The Phantom Squad account was suspended after they claimed to be the ones behind the Xbox Live outage that happened yesterday.
