Preview members getting Windows 10 Xbox One update next month, rolls out to everyone in November

It has been revealed that the Windows 10 based Xbox One update, announced at E3 2015, will begin to arrive on consoles this September. Those who are in the Xbox One Preview Program will see this update arriving on their consoles next month, however the general public will see the final build releasing to them in November. This will give testers two months to experiment with the new operating system, and give feedback to Microsoft.

The new Windows 10 powered dashboard will offer a near-complete overhaul of the Xbox One console interface, and improve speed and efficiency. The dashboard will also bring many features inspired, or from Windows 10, such as the personal assistant Cortana. A new slide-in panel has also been added to access everyday features with ease, which appears to be a hybrid of the Xbox 360 guide menu, and the existing implementation.
