Xbox’s Major Nelson has just announced a new trio of backward compatible games now playable on Xbox One.
First up is TimeShift. This cult classic revolved around the manipulation of time-based powers such as slowing down time to dispatch foes more effectively. Your mission to prevent the creation of temporal paradoxes will take you to numerous times and places, including an alternate 1939.
Next, there’s Commanders: Attack of the Genos. Created by Southend Interactive, this art deco turn-based strategy game first launched in 2008 on Xbox Live Arcade. The single player campaign consists of 15 full missions with co-op and multiplayer skirmishes also available to play.
Lastly, there’s Assault Heroes 2. Another XBLA game, Assault Heroes 2 is a top-down, arcade-style game which gives players the ability to hijack enemy units such as tanks and helicopters.
