Update: Spectra has now been removed from the Xbox One Store. Maybe it was accidentally released for a few hours like Happy Wars a few weeks ago.
The Xbox One has steadily received a lot of unique indie titles and today is no different. Spectra, Slice Zombies for Kinect, and Ultratron are now available on the console. Many of the titles are available at discounted prices for Xbox Live Gold subscribers so be sure to take advantage of the pricing if you’re interested in these titles.
Spectra
Spectra is a fast-paced racing game that features retro graphics and precise maneuvering. The game has ten unique music tracks that are used to generate procedural levels. Cross-play between Xbox and Windows Phone is supported through cloud services allowing you to take the game to whichever device you want.
Slice Zombies for Kinect
Slice Zombies for Kinect is basically Fruit Ninja for Kinect with, well, zombies instead of fruit. The zombie apocalypse is long over and there are still thousands of zombies left. So what do we do with them now? Step in front of your Kinect and use your hands to cut, grab and shoot zombies into little pieces.
Ultratron
Ultratron is a twin-stick arena shooter inspired by some of the best classic arcade games of old. The last human in the universe has been slain by evil killer robots and as the last remaining humanoid battle droid, you’ll be fighting through over forty arcade levels to finally take on the four giant boss bots of the apocalypse. It’s just a crazy and fun experience.
