The latest Xbox One system update for March 2016 adds the ability to buy Xbox 360 games on Xbox One, 16-person party chat, and more.
As detailed on Major Nelson’s website, the features that were in preview earlier this month are now available to the public. The biggest of which may be the ability to purchase Xbox 360 backward compatible games on your Xbox One. Simply find them the same as you would Xbox One titles and once purchased, they will automatically download to your console.
The newest update also includes 16-person party chat (increased from 12), and allows you to include party chat in Twitch broadcasts. A complete list of all of the features included are on Major Nelson’s website.
Oddly enough, a new setting that lets you keep your games and apps and still allows you to do a factory reset is also available. This is definitely a welcome feature as members in the Preview program know how problematic some beta software is. Now they have an easy way to fix the issues without starting from scratch and downloading dozens of games.
