Turns out we may have underestimated the new Xbox One S after all. We originally thought the new console would only be able to run 4K for video but according to a tweet by Mike Ybarra, it can run both video and games at upscaled 4K. Upscaled 4K is just really a crisper, sharper 1080p so it won’t be true 4K but this is a definitely step up from just normal 1080p. You can check out the exact tweet below.
