Update 3: Xbox One S 2 TB model has sold out for good according to Microsoft. It might return as a bundle later but only the red Gears of War 4 2 TB model will be available for the foreseeable future.
Update 2: Phil Spencer somewhat mocked the naysayers recently. He said that some thought Xbox Scorpio would overshadow Xbox One S but it hasn’t. The Xbox One S is selling out everywhere despite the fact that everyone knows that the most powerful console ever made is coming out in a year. Being open definitely helped them and customers appreciate it.
@SnoopyG7 Great response, thanks 2 everyone. Some thought Scorpio would overshadow S , it hasn’t. Sharing our plans openly has worked so far

Pre-orders have been wildly popular since the announcement, with the console grabbing the top spots at Gamestop, Best-Buy and Amazon.com.
