Major Nelson has just announced that XCOM: Enemy Within will also be joining Xbox One’s large amount of backward compatible titles. While we were originally led to believe that only the base game, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, would be available it now seems that this standalone expansion will also be playable on Xbox One starting today.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown becomes available as a free Game with Gold title on the 16th this month.
In addition to Enemy Within, three more games are now backward compatible as well, including Foul Play, Monopoly Plus, and Sega Bass Fishing.
