Earlier today Todd Howard, the designer of Fallout and The Elder Scrolls at Bethesda, hinted at three unannounced projects that are in the works at the studio. You can read the quote from the DICE Summit below which contains the juicy details that have everyone speculating.
“We actually have three longer-term projects that are all — we’ll talk about them at a much future date — they’re different from anything we’ve done before while also being a Bethesda style game: big and crazy,” . . . “but in many ways different from what we’ve done before.”
He did share that the projects will not be announced any time soon. He also shared that there are still some secrets left to find in Fallout 4.
This information has everyone in the industry speculating what it could be and several things come to mind. Naturally the next Elder Scrolls game jumps to mind and then the next Fallout game. But with Bethesda having such long development times for their games, these two options seem the most far fetched.
One that has been gaining some traction lately is a remaster of Fallout 3 and maybe even the Skyrim remaster mentioned last year by Bethesda. Only time will tell what they have up their sleeves. What do you think the projects could be? Let us know in the comments below.
