Forza Horizon 2 is getting a free standalone Fast and Furious expansion

Microsoft has teamed up with Universal Partnerships and Licensing to bring a free Fast and Furious expansion to Forza Horizon 2 fans on Xbox One and Xbox 360. The expansion will be a standalone title that will feature a multitude of cars from the upcoming Furious 7 film. Due to the fact that the expansion is a standalone download, you do not need to own Forza Horizon 2 to play it. The download will be free to Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners starting on March 27, 2015 until April 10, 2015. After this period, the expansion will cost $10 but players who downloaded it during the promotion will own it forever.

The expansion takes place in a new environment which is still based on Southern France. The car challenges have also been modified to reflect the intense style of the Fast and Furious films. Some of the cars that will be part of the download include the 1970 Dodge Charger, 2012 Nissan GT-R, the gorgeous 2014 Maserati Ghibli, 2015 Dodge Charger, and the 2013 Jeep Wrangler. We can’t wait to play this one!
