Aside from the thrilling gameplay presentation during Microsoft’s keynote a week ago, Crystal Dynamics recently released more Rise of the Tomb Raider footage. This footage shows off more gameplay in the Siberian wilderness. Lara can climb trees to get the drop on enemies and the crafting system has been expanded making it more robust and useful. The campfires that acted as save points around the world in the last game also return.
Apart from that, the combat is as brutal as ever and there is a greater focus on stealth. Graphically, the game looks incredible and we can’t wait to see more of it in the coming months. This is definitely shaping up to be a worthy sequel to the original.
