ICXM E3 Roundup

The Electronic Entertainment Expo comes but once a year and always has the potential to either delight or discourage – and usually amuse. This year’s E3 was most certainly one of the best in recent years, particularly for Xbox and especially if you only count the first day.

Day one brought us Bethesda’s debut conference, filled with gaming goodness over a surprisingly refined show. Next came Microsoft, with arguably the best show of the event. Xbox brought not only incredible new games and exclusives, but massive announcements that will surely shape the rest of this generation. Later, EA and Ubisoft mostly reigned in their stupidity to bring us expected but very welcome entries into mostly established franchises. Finally, Sony wheeled out a bunch of games we thought were as unlikely to happen as having backwards compatibility on Xbox One, delighting long-time fans but offering little in the way of new and exciting properties.

Finally on day two, Nintendo, Square Enix and the PC Gaming show did their very best to destroy all the passion for gaming that day one built up. But even though that day drained the best of us, ICXM has you covered. We’ve got all the news from E3 2015 that an Xbox or PC gamer needs, in order to restore the hope in humanity that the PC Gaming show sucked out, like the dark, undying evil that it was. We’re still breaking down the announcements into dedicated articles as more information becomes available, so bookmark this page and check back soon. For now, here’s everything we’ve covered so far.
