A couple of new games are coming out tomorrow and they look great. Cannon Brawl is out and it’s a Worms-like experience. Doom’s first expansion, Unto the Evil, is also out now on the console.
Cannon Brawl
Pilot an airship, command powerful weapon emplacements like cannons, giant flamethrowers, and high-powered lasers. Destroy the very earth from under your enemies feet! Cannon Brawl is an exciting mix of real time strategy and artillery gameplay. Your ability to manage combat priorities and focus through the madness of battle will be put to the test. Advance across the kingdom in single player to unlock and discover new units, then experiment with each one to find your favorite combination in online multiplayer. Choose from over fifteen units and five airship pilots for a huge variety of strategic combinations. Want to turtle up and launch big warheads from afar? You can! Want to rush to the high ground and launch a rain of missiles from above? You can! Try out tons of other strategies and crush your friends!
Doom: Unto the Evil
Unto the Evil brings three new diverse maps to DOOM multiplayer: Offering, Cataclysm, and Ritual. In addition, the DLC adds the UAC EMG Pistol as a new weapon, the Kinetic Mine as new equipment, and the Harvester as a new playable demon. Unto the Evil also adds new armor sets, patterns, colors, and taunts, as well as new hack modules. id Software is also introducing the PartyPlay system, which allows anyone to play any of the new maps from Unto the Evil, as long as you party up with a friend who owns the DLC. Similarly, if you own the DLC, the Unto the Evil DLC maps will be accessible to anyone who’s in your party as part of the map rotation.
