Phil Spencer confirmed that the upcoming Steven Spielberg TV show based on the Halo universe is still ‘alive’ after being asked about the state of the project by fans on Twitter. Microsoft announced the Halo TV series back in 2013, but since then haven’t made any further information available, and thus far fans have been relegated to fishing.

The Halo TV series is expected to launch on Xbox One and other Microsoft platform services, and is being produced by Steven Spielberg.
