Gearbox Software, developers of the soon to be released MOBA Battleborn, have announced the type of content we will be seeing post-launch including both free and paid add-ons. In the free content we will be seeing five new characters, new maps, new game modes, and of course what every first-person shooter needs eventually, balancing.
For the paid content we will be expecting five premium add-on packs that will include new story-based content around the playable characters in the game. Along with all this info, they talked about the first free character coming named Alani but sadly there wasn’t much info on her at the moment but they promised some soon. Gearbox made sure to point out that they will be supporting all playstyles whether you are playing alone, with a friend online, or even with a friend right next to you.
I think it’s great that they are taking such a community approach to Battleborn and I believe we will definitely see the full extent of that in the upcoming beta and when the game does launch on May 3.
