Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Xbox One and Xbox 360

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is an open world action-adventure stealth video game developed by Kojima Productions and directed, co-produced and co-written by Hideo Kojima. The game will serve as a continuation of the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, and will carry over the same tagline of Tactical Espionage Operations first used in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The game follows the mercenary leader Venom Snake as he ventures into Africa and Afghanistan during the Soviet war to exact revenge on the people who destroyed his forces during the events of Ground Zeroes.

Mad Max
Xbox One

Mad Max places players in the role of a lone warrior who must embark on a journey to reclaim his stolen interceptor from a deadly gang of marauders. The game is based on the events of the movie and comic book Mad Max: Fury Road which sees the player character Max Rockatansky fight through a post-apocalyptic wasteland complete with caves and a variety of weapons, one of which is Max’s trusty shotgun.

Forza Motorsport 6

Microsoft has announced that the next entry in the Xbox’s hit racing franchise, Forza Motorsport 6, is currently in development for the Xbox One. Additionally, the two companies also announced the game will feature the newly revealed F-150 Raptor and Shelby GT350 Mustang models before they are available to the public. The game was revealed at an event in North American, Detroit, where Ford unveiled its new Ford GT supercar.

“It is an honor to share this historic moment with Ford and celebrate the legacy of the GT by making it the featured cover car of Forza Motorsport 6,” Xbox head Phil Spencer said of the collaboration. “We’re thrilled to have the unique opportunity to announce Forza Motorsport 6 the day the car debuts – on one of the biggest stages in the automotive industry, and we can’t wait to share more details on the game later this year.”

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5

Like the previous titles of the series, Pro Skater 5 will feature a list of playable professional skateboarders to play as, offering players the ability to customize their own skaters. The game will feature Create-A-Park, a feature last seen in 2005’s American Wasteland. Created parks can be shared to the online community.

The game will feature a selection of levels based on real-world locations, as was the case with previous Tony Hawk titles. These levels will feature multiple objectives, missions, obstacles and gaps for the player to discover, complete and compete. This may be in offline single-player, or online in either co-operative or competitive multi-player gameplay. The game is also believed to feature a character ‘level up’ system, which will allow the player to progress through the course of the game, both online and offline, in a ‘seamless’ transition of play. The level will carry from single-player to multi-player and vice versa.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 offers a fresh take on combo-driven skateboarding, the most advanced Pro Skater online multiplayer experience in a Tony Hawk game, and a state-of-the-art skatepark builder. Ride, build, and repeat!
