It appears that the Gears of War 4 season pass is getting more content. According to a somewhat cryptic tweet by Rod Fergusson, he wants to add more content to the pass and has everything finalized. However, he’s waiting for Microsoft’s marketing division to clear it before he can talk about it openly.

I’m glad they’re adding more content and hopefully it’ll be compelling. Beforehand the Gears of War 4 season pass just gave you access to maps which would be playable when hosting private matches. That really didn’t sound like a good reason for me to invest in the season pass. We’ll have to wait and see what the content is. Hopefully it’ll offer more to the player.
