What is your Gamertag and the reason for choosing it?
My Gamertag is Major Iris. I had an old Gamertag, iris2009, that was changed when I decided to beat Major Nelson’s Gamerscore, hence the name Major Iris. I surpassed his Gamerscore in 2014, with a tweet from him saying “well done!” Who knows when it may change again, or if never?
What is your favourite genre/s of game and why?
FPS or Action Adventure. I like the first person shooters a lot but sometimes they start to feel like a rerun of last years FPS. So I switch between games. I recently started enjoying some survival like games, like The Long Dark. The reason I like these games, the adrenaline that you get, the vibration in your hands as you shoot at a enemy player running at you. It’s the hype of the storm! Can’t get any better!
What is your favourite game so far? (Doesn’t need to be an Xbox title!)
Fable Legends, a future free to play game coming in Holiday 2015. Sadly, I can’t discuss much about it but Lionhead have outdone themselves again. If you care to give the beta a try head to fablelegends.com. If I had to picked a released game, I would say Tower Of Guns – it’s a great game!
What is your most memorable gaming moment?
Memorable you say? I have tons! I would have to say, Assassin’s Creed Unity! When I jumped on and went to multiplayer and was with 3 other people and we rushed this mansion swiftly, we worked as a team making it all the way to the contract kill without any of us losing a ounce of health. That counts right?
What is your Gamerscore and how long has it taken you to get it?
My Gamerscore at this time after 6 years is 106661. I don’t see it as a lot as Stallion83 has me beat by millions.
Which achievement has been the most frustrating to obtain? How long did it take you?
“Better Than Mama” Yes that is spelt right! It was by No Goblin, the creators of that achievement for the game Roundabout. The achievement required you to get a better speed run time than the No Goblin team. It took me 4 days!
What is your gaming guilty pleasure?
Ha, good question! I actually play games with a bag of chips and sour cream in front of me, and my feel in a foot soaker. Yeah, I live a king’s life!
If you could pick a video game character, who would you be and why?
I would be Aiden Pearce from WATCH_DOGS. He loves technology and I do as well! We have a lot in common. Well apart from the bank hacking and stuff obviously!
If you could pick a location, from any game, to visit, where would it be and why?
It would have to be Albion from the Fable games. I would love to explore such a wonderful environment – Just imagine, you would be a hero.
Finally, where do you see gaming heading in the next decade?
We are in 2015, almost 2016. Where do I see gaming in the next decade? That’s a hard question to answer! But I believe anything will be possible, it’s too big for me to grasp.
