On the FAQ page on the Ghost Games website, they confirmed that the new Need for Speed game won’t have paid DLC. The developers affirmed that they aren’t planning any paid DLC, and instead offering a series of free content updates for the game. Ghost Games has also confirmed that the game won’t have microtransactions either.
When asked if the game featured paid DLC, the developers said, “We plan to release a series of free content updates for Need for Speed. We currently have no plans for any paid DLC.” Additionally, when asked about microtransactions, the developers confirmed, “There will be no microtransactions.” The new Need for Speed game is scheduled to be released on November 3 on Xbox One in North America. It’ll release on November 5 elsewhere. The PC version has been delayed until spring 2016.
