During an interview, Phil Spencer said that Xbox Scorpio’s virtual reality capabilities would be discussed at a later date. He did mention how when designing the Xbox Scorpio, they worked with virtual reality creators like Todd Howard who wants to bring Fallout 4 to headsets to make sure they had all the tools they needed, mostly 6 TFLOPS of power.
Another interesting bit of information would be how Spencer evaded the question of a partnership with existing headset manufactures. This might mean that Microsoft is working on their own virtual reality headset. However, this might also mean that they just haven’t decided on a partnership yet. I think it points to the former.
