At Ani-Com and Games Hong Kong this week, the developer of the Psycho-Pass game for Xbox One has announced that a release will be seen this fall, which adds support for both English and Chinese. Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness released last May, exclusive to Xbox One, however only supported the Japanese language. 5pb., have announced that this version will be coming to Hong Kong, later in the year.
No other regions for distribution have been announced yet, but now an English version is in production, it is likely we could see a western launch. For those who wish to play this fall, the Xbox One has no region locks, unlike those found on Xbox 360 discs. Without this restriction, imported games can be played like any other title.
The game introduces two new protagonists to the Psycho-Pass universe, while also featuring those from the main anime series. The story takes place during the first six episodes of the first season, and integrates both Kinect and SmartGlass, however is not required.
