Apart from the announcement that Rogue Legacy would be coming to Xbox One a few months ago, there hasn’t been much news about the port of the popular rogue-lite title. Abstraction Games and Cellar Door Games have finally come forth and provided us with a release date. Rogue Legacy will be available to Xbox One owners on May 27, 2015. The goal of Rogue Legacy is to explore a randomly generated dungeon, defeat four bosses in each of the four unique environments, and then defeat the final boss.
Whenever a character dies, control transfers over to one of three randomly generated heirs. Each descendant carries their unique characteristics and abilities including such genetic peculiarities as color-blindness, mental health issues, and dwarfism. It’s a fun game and we can’t wait to play it.
