Many years ago, Oregon’s Buzz Monkey Software were working on a South Park game for the original Xbox. The title never released but went further in the development cycle than anyone expected. The individuals over at Happy Console Gamer purchased an original Xbox that had the game pre-installed on it. The console was discovered by Nintendo Age’s forum moderator qixmaster.
The people over at Happy Console Gamer said that the game is similar to The Simpsons: Hit & Run. The build features the South Park children exploring their little town and causing mayhem. The strangest scene would have to be how Eric Cartman beats up wild dogs. Yes, watch the footage. Cartman beats up dogs.
The game installed on the original Xbox is an alpha build so it’s filled with worded placeholder textures. It also crashes a lot. Still, it’s a great find and very unique. It looks really cool and I now wish it released so I could’ve played it on my original Xbox. Hey folks at Happy Console Gamer, is the console up for sale? I really want it.
