We Happy Few is a mysterious and disturbing game. Last we heard was that it would be coming to Xbox Game Preview during the holidays last year. Well, that is definitely not the case and it looks like the game might be coming later than expected.
According to a report from Xbox One Headquarters, “Compulsion Games action adventure game We Happy Few hits Xbox One in June! We Happy Few is the tale of a plucky bunch of moderately terrible people trying to escape from a lifetime of cheerful denial. Set in a drug-fuelled, retrofuturistic city in an alternative 1960s England, you’ll have to blend in with its other inhabitants, who don’t take kindly to people who don’t abide by their not-so-normal rules.”
I’m not sure if this refers to the Xbox Game Preview release or the actual release. We’ll have to wait and find out. I personally think it’s probably the final release of the game, the Xbox Game Preview release coming sooner rather than later. We’ve reached out to Compulsion Games for an official confirmation. Until then, please take this date with a grain of salt.
